Quantum Jumping: Catapult Yourself Into Success With One Year Later

As a sales architect and inspirational keynote speaker, I teach sales professionals and leaders how to self-actualize in order to reach their maximum potential. After decades of researching thousands of sales professionals and leaders, I came to understand that so many of us are stuck in our thinking, our feeling, and the same old outcomes. Now more than ever, so many professionals feel an overwhelming amount of uncertainty, fear, and even hopelessness, thinking there is no way out.

I am all too familiar with this state of being, as for many years I too operated from this place of survival. I may have appeared successful on the surface, but on the inside, I was suffering from debilitating anxiety and constant restlessness. When the market crashed in 2008, while I was a financial advisor on 100% commission with a young son to support, I completely lost my footing. To lift my own spirits I started playing a silly game every day, it not only lifted my spirits but did so much more. It took 15 more years of research to understand that what I actually tapped into, and what saved my life in one of my darkest seasons, was quantum jumping.

Quantum jumping is the practice of imagining you’re in the future, already having attained your goals and living the life you’ve always dreamed of. I began imagining myself One Year Later and acting as if I was already there. Even though it started as a “silly” game–it worked, and I started to feel as if I was there too. As time progressed my future began to manifest exactly how I’d envisioned it. It was then that I realized this is an incredibly useful tool that could help others as well. I could not understand why I was never introduced to these tools in my corporate training as they would have made a world of difference in my own personal and business development. Today I teach a three step formula, the One Year Later Framework to help professionals self-actualize and thrive in the modern workplace.

Step 1 - See It: Begin With The End In Mind

What does it look like when you have had the best and most epic year of your career? What does it feel like when you have the new house, the new title, or the New York Times bestseller? Begin with the end in mind. Remember, every achievement has happened twice. First in the mind and then in physical reality. Establish what your end goal is, then start to familiarize yourself with what achieving that goal will look like and who you are when you are living your best life ever. The more specific you are the more real it becomes, and instead of just a dream, it becomes a plan, a road map to get you to where you DESIRE to go.

Step 2 - Feel It: Align Your Energy To The Wish Fulfilled

There is a switch that turns on when you quantum jump to your future self which creates an energetic alignment with the wish fulfilled. When we connect mentally with our future self, we begin to feel differently, and it changes the chemistry in our body. This elevates us to a higher vibrational scale and attracts people and opportunities to us that are on that same wavelength.

A study that was done found that the average person has between 50-75,000 thoughts a day–95% are the same as the previous day and 85% of those thoughts are negative. We literally continue to think and feel the same exact way day after day. Changing your energy also creates new pathways in the brain, which is key for long-term growth and self-actualization. Feeling as if the wish is fulfilled is a crucial part of creating new and grander experiences in our businesses and our lives.

Step 3 - Become It: Inspired Action

In my work, I utilize a tool called The Brain Map. Essentially the Brain Map outlines the 5 levels or “channels” of thought that our brains operate from at any given moment. Unfortunately, most of us have been programmed to operate from the lower channels. Channels 1-3, include thoughts, feelings, and results of negativity–shame, guilt, fear, frustration, sadness, and the like. On the outside we may appear to be successful and achieving our goals, however on the inside it is a completely different story as we are falling far short of our true potential.

Channels 4 and 5 on the other hand, are where we need to be operating from in order to achieve new results inside and out. The key is to reprogram the brain by creating new pathways that send a new message. For many of us, the brain has been programmed to operate from fear and worry. When we operate from inspired action we rewire the brain to operate on a higher level. Imagine the results that follow when your team operates from Channel 5–a state of joy, gratitude, passion, optimism, and excitement. The best news is that the more often we operate from a place of joy, bliss, appreciation, and excitement, the more this new state of being will become the norm.

One Year Later: Self Actualization

In the end, what we’re all searching for is to experience the highest aspects of ourselves. The Oxford Dictionary defines self-actualization as, “the realization or fulfillment of one’s talents and potentialities, especially considered as a drive or need present in everyone.” We’ve all got this need deep down inside us to be successful, to fulfill our dreams no matter how big or small. By utilizing quantum jumping and my One Year Later Framework to alter our inner experience we can change our wiring, energy, and results in order to see it, feel it, and become your best self.
